TitleCommis Chef/Entry Level Chef
ResponsibilitiesPrep and cook meals for lodge guests according to menu, recipes and to lodge standard in a timely manner.

Complete assigned daily prep list and clean up list, work to assist staff in completing baking, grab n go, food prep and set up, complete weekly kitchen turnover and all other duties as assigned.

We are a Program driven kitchen, you must be able to follow and complete daily tasks, menus and be willing to adapt as programs require.

High standard required for personal hygiene, to include cleanliness in staff housing. You must meet kitchen food safety and proper food handling requirements each shift and have the ability to pass the CA Food Handlers test prior to employment.

Requires a proven track record of dependability and work ethic.
45-55 hours per work majority of which is spent standing.

Prefer previous experience in commercial kitchen however we will train the right person. CULINARY STUDENTS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

Reports directly to Sous Chef, Executive Chef.

ResponsibilitiesYou will assist the kitchen team by prepping ingredients, maintaining the kitchen, equipment, and supplies. Perform daily cleaning and weekly turnover tasks.

You must be able to work 6 day work weeks, stand on your feet 45-55 hours per week, complete a heavy workload, prioritize well, and meet deadlines.

Personal Hygiene and living space to standards of Scott River Lodge.

Reliable to co-workers, willingness to follow directions, flexible, easy-going, a good sense of humor, passionate about food, cooking and love of people.

Reports directly to Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

We are also Blessed to have our own 3 acre organic farm that supplies the kitchen throughout the growing season.
